Shawn Alimohammadi

I help funders, platforms and programme teams turn development goals into outcomes that can be measured, verified and paid for. For four years I have led platform growth at IXO World on the Yoma Impacts Exchange, a marketplace that funds youth outcomes across Africa, working with partners including UNICEF, corporates, stakeholders alongside South African community organisations. I also founded the ReFi Cape Town, which supports youth employment interventions and innovative finance.

What I can do for your team: - Outcomes-based finance design: outcome units, pricing and funding flows for impact bonds, results-based financing pilots and outcomes marketplaces (youth employment, early childhood, learning, climate). - Impact measurement and verification: evidence requirements, verification workflows, verifiable outcome certificates and digital MRV. - Funder proposals and reporting: concept notes, partnership proposals, milestone submissions and multi-funder reports. - Programme and partner design: design sprints, partner onboarding, ambassador and work-placement programmes for young people. - Product reviews of impact and fintech platforms from the funder, partner and youth user point of view. - Environmental field observations in the Western Cape: MiniSASS water monitoring, trail condition and invasive species surveys.
