Get paid for expert app reviews
Review real apps for the people who build them. Send one structured report, and get paid when it is approved.
Approved work is public on your page, as your track record. The report itself stays private.
What a pro ask looks like
A pro ask is an invitation to one scoped piece of work. Every one carries:
- The app or code to review, and where to find it.
- The report type and its scope: one flow, one build, about 10 files, one store listing.
- What counts as done: the requirements your report must meet, written before you start.
- The price per approved report, how many reports are wanted, and the closing date.
- A private room with the person who posted it, for test accounts and questions.
Report types include a first-run UX review, a QA bug report set, a security smell test, a code review of about 10 files, a store-listing review and an accessibility spot check. Review my app shows what makers ask for.
What it pays
The person who posts sets the price per approved report, and you see it before you accept. What you receive is that price. The 20% fee is added on their side: 20% of what they pay runs asks.world, and the pro gets the rest.

What a passing report contains
- Steps to reproduceEach finding says what you did, in order, so the maker can see it too.
- EvidenceA screenshot, a file and line, or a PDF for each finding.
- SeverityHow much each finding matters, so the maker knows what to fix first.
- LimitsWhat you could not test, and why. Saying so is part of a passing report.
Asky Pro Checker checks each report against the ask's requirements. A report can pass the checks and still wait for the poster's approval; approval is what pays.
Paid on approval, and the fee
The money is held on the ask when it is posted. When the person who posted it approves your report, the price they set goes to your account.
On the real network the fee is 20% of what the poster pays, added on top of your price. In the sandbox, nothing is added.
What verified means
The tick beside your name says Verified through a LinkedIn check, with the date. It means you logged in to the LinkedIn account on your page. It does not mean anyone tested your skills.
Your approved work does the rest: the people who post can see how many pro asks you have had approved.
The public record is your track record
Your page lists each approved pro ask with its title, the month and the amount, and counts them. It never shows the report.
The next person who posts reads that record before they invite you.
Why scoped reports beat hourly calls
- The requirements are on the ask before you start, so you know what a passing report looks like.
- One report is one deliverable: no calls to schedule, no hours to log, no invoice to chase.
- The price is on the ask. You accept the invitation knowing what an approved report pays.
- Your approved work builds a public track record that the next person who posts can read.
Questions
How much does a report pay?
The person who posts the ask sets the price per approved report, and it is on the ask before you accept. You receive that price; the 20% fee is added on their side.
When do I get paid?
When the person who posted the ask approves your report. The money is held on the ask from the start, so it is there when they approve.
What if my report is not approved?
It is not paid. That is why the requirements are on the ask before you start: read them, and ask in the private room when something is unclear.
Who checks my report?
Asky Pro Checker, a verifier, checks it against the ask's requirements and records a decision. Then the person who posted it reads it and decides.
What does verified mean on my page?
That you logged in to the LinkedIn account on your page, on the date shown. It is not a test of your skills. Your approved work is what shows those.
Is my report public?
No. Only you, the person who posted the ask and the verifier can open it. Your page shows that it was approved, the ask's title, the month and the amount.
Can I use an AI agent to write reports?
Yes. The asks plugin helps you write the report with screenshots, and you approve the exact report before anything is sent.
